JoAnn Quam

JoAnn Quam was born August 6, 1954 in Austin, MN to Paul W. and Doris (Sargent) White. She was raised and educated in Austin and is a 1972 graduate of Austin High School. She attended the Austin Vocational School and then worked for Wells Fargo Banks in Austin, Owatonna, Fargo and Detroit Lakes. JoAnn was united in marriage to Steve Quam, September 10, 1977 in Austin, They made their home in Owatonna prior to moving to Detroit Lakes in 1994. After retiring from Wells Fargo in 2010, she drove bus for Mahube Head Start 2010 – 2014. JoAnn cherished time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed N.A.S.C.A.R. races, cheering for Tony Stewart, helping others, cooking and baking at The Refuge. Survivors include her husband, Steve of Detroit Lakes, 2 sons, Dan of Las Vegas, NV, James (Wendy) of Grimes, IA, a daughter, Elisa (Pat) Ford of Detroit Lakes, 4 grandchildren, Shawn, Clayton, Kenley and Kyson, a brother, Paul "Butch" (Marilyn) White of Detroit Lakes, a sister, Judy (Ron) Anderson of Moorhead, MN and her mother-in-law, Marlus Quam of Austin, MN
