Abigail Fingalson

Abigail Grace Fingalson, 22 month old daughter of Blake and Connie Fingalson died on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Abbie’s Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM in Strawberry Lake Mennonite Church of rural Ogema, MN. Officiating will be Pastor Delmar Yoder. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at David-Donehower Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.  Interment will be held at Strawberry Lake Mennonite Cemetery.

Abbie Grace was born on January 16, 2007 at St. Mary’s Innovis Health of Detroit Lakes, MN to Blake and Connie (Hankiewicz) Fingalson. Abbie was mom and dad’s little princess. She loved to sing and dance, often wearing her “princess” like dresses and shoes along with her crown and boa. She loved having mom apply her lipstick and nail polish. Abbie also enjoyed dancing and singing with her father, she was daddy's girl; she loved to color and paint anything artistic.

Abigail will be remembered and deeply missed by her parents, Blake and Connie of Detroit Lakes, MN; grandparents, Bonnie and Jerry Skov of Strawberry Lake, MN, Shelly Fingalson of Richwood, MN, Jerome and Corinne Finglson of Richwood, MN, and Ted Hankiewicz of Hastings MN. She is also survived by her uncles Nathan Hankiewicz, Thaddeus Hankiewicz, Brock Fingalson and Aron Sperry; along with two aunts, Faron Fingalson and Donna Hankiewicz. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, James and Ardith Fingalson; great-grandpa, Donovan Thompson; uncle, Blair Fingalson; and aunt, Brittany Fingalson.
