Adeline was born September 8, 1918 on the family farm near White Earth, MN to Joseph and Anna (Fletcher) Bertek. She was raised and educated near White Earth. In 1937 Adeline was united in marriage to Tony Rothschadl. They resided and farmed in Mahnomen, MN and Waubun, MN area until 1960. Adeline and Tony moved to Detroit Lakes in 1960. Tony passed away in 1968.
Adeline worked at St. Mary’s Hospital from 1960 until her retirement in 1984. For 30 years, Adeline resided at Pleasant View Apartments in Detroit Lakes. She made many friends throughout the years at Pleasant View and enjoyed time spent reading, baking, traveling, especially her summer road trips and watching her favorite game shows, “Price Is Right” and “Wheel of Fortune”.
Adeline will be remembered and missed by her son Tony (Sandra) Rothschadl of Parker, CO, her grandchildren: Paula (Brian) Vargo of Littleton, CO and Robin (Al) Boileau of Parker, CO along with three great grandchildren; Christopher Iliff, A.J. Boileau, and Kennedy Boileau.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Francis, Dorothy, Anna and Helen and six brothers: Joe, Milo, George, Victor, Arnold and Louis.
