Albert Ladwig

Albert Max Ladwig (Jim) age 85 of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away on July 18, 2021. Jim was born on September 16, 1935 to Albert & Ruth (Cumihow) Ladwig. Jim Helped his grandparents on their farm in Hamden township/ Rural Audubon, MN. Jim then worked at swifts in Detroit Lakes until he retired in the late 80’s. Jim was a kind, simple man who was loved by many.

Jim is survived by siblings Herbert (Marian) Ladwig, Norma Stallboerger, Russel (Patty) Ladwig, William (Delores) Ladwig, Lorraine Brown, Larry Ladwig, Robert Ladwig, and sister-in-law Charlotte Ladwig. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert & Ruth Ladwig, Sibling Dwayne Ladwig, and Sibling-in-laws Bernard Stallbaerger, Evonne Ladwig, and Jack Brown.

The family would like to thank Hospice and Diamond Willow for the wonderful care provided for Jim.  We would also like to thank all the tenants at the Graystone for being Jim’s family and friends. A big thank you to LaBarista for always treating Jim with the utmost respect and always being so kind.

A private family service will be held July 30, 2021 at Hamden Cemetery in Audubon, MN.
