Anna S. Habedank, 89, of Detroit Lakes, MN died Thursday, January 10 at St. Marys Regional Health Center in Detroit Lakes. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 19 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Detroit Lakes. Interment will be at the Ada City Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the hall on Saturday.
Anna Sophie Krabbenhoft was born February 1, 1918 in Sebula, IA to John and Sophie (Nagel) Krabbenhoft. She was raised in Sebula and was united in marriage with Alvin Habedank in Ada, MN March 12, 1941. They farmed in Ada for many years and Anna also worked in Fargo, ND at Herb?s CafAC., the Gardner Hotel and did some house cleaning. They moved to Detroit Lakes in 1974 and Anna worked at Hills Corner Station. Alvin died July 19, 2003. Anna continued making her home in Detroit Lakes.
Anna is survived by one daughter, Gloria (Donald) Fenzel of Grey Eagle, MN; three sons, Milton of Detroit Lakes, Norman (Carol) of Ashland, WI, Keith (Linda) of Tyler, TX; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; two sisters, Violet (Paul) Dequette of Park Rapids, MN, Betty (Fred) Nelson of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Arlo Krabbenhoft of Clinton, IA, Jay (Jo) Krabbenhoft of Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin; son, Richard; granddaughters, Debra and Miranda; one sister, Ethel Barton; one brother, John Krabbenhoft.
