Anthony M. Schutz, 52, resident of Detroit Lakes, died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his residence and under care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 30 at 1PM in David Donehower Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Anthony was born October 6, 1961 in Robbinsdale, MN to Leonard and Ethel (Hedlund) Schutz. In 1980 he moved to Detroit Lakes. Anthony was employed with Snappy's for 25 years. Anthony is survived by two brothers and six sisters, locally Mary (Brian) Schermerhorn of Detroit Lakes. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley or The Boys and Girls Club of Detroit Lakes.
