April Bellanger

April Joy Bellanger, 50 of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away on December 29, 2021 at Perham Health.

April was born on April 23, 1971 in Minneapolis, MN to Roxanne (Bunker) Bellanger and Timothy St.John. She attended school at Heart of the Earth Survival School until she started her family. In 1995 she moved her family to Detroit Lakes, MN. She was very outgoing and gained many friends in the area, she graduated the GED program from Mstate in 1999. In 2004, she moved to Cloquet, MN where she worked as a housekeeper at Blackbear Casino. She spent her time traveling on the road to visit her grandkids and other family.

Her hobbies included playing bingo, sewing, decorating, playing cards, or cooking for family. April had a kind heart and a sharp memory. She knew everyone’s birthdays and would send out reminders to other family. April brought joy to anyone who knew her and will be missed by those who were touched by her kindness.

April is survived by her mother Roxanne Bellanger, sister Angela, brother Edward, daughters Crystal & Melyssa , sons Todd Jr., Jordan, and Timothy. Grandchildren Brandon, Landon, Jayson, Alexia, Cali, Lilliana, and Jordyn. Special sister Rochelle Christianson.

She is preceded in death by her father Timothy St.John, brother Daniel “Chucky" Bellanger, son Brandon Belland, and her grandparents.
