Ardis Marie Guthrie was born May 6, 1943 in Good Thunder, MN to Clayton and Julia (Mahold) Bunde. She was raised and educated in the Good Thunder and Mankato, MN area. Ardis married James Guthrie in November, 1959 at Mankato. They lived in Mankato until moving to rural Ogema in 1977. Jim died June 6, 2006. Ardis enjoyed being with her family and gossiping with her friends.
Ardis is survived by three daughters, Sheila Conner, Cheryl DesJarlais, Laura Guthrie (Leonard Roy), all of Ogema; nine grandchildren, Misty Conner, Bobbi Jo Guthrie, Andy Roy, Alan Roy, Brandie Conner, Gina Roy, Dylan DesJarlias, James Conner, Jessica Conner; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Rodney (Missy) Bunde living in California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; great-granddaughter, Alician Marie Roy; sister, Joan Heldman; and her parents.
