Arline C. Johnson was born September 28, 1918 in Montevideo, MN to George and Myrtle (Hall) Daniels. She was raised and educated in Montevideo and is a 1937 graduate of Montevideo High School. Arline was united in marriage to Phillip Johnson May 6, 1949 in Detroit Lakes. They lived in Owatonna, MN where she worked as a cook for the Owatonna (MN) Public Schools. They moved to Detroit Lakes in 1971 and later divorced. Arline worked for Blanding’s Department Store and as a hostess for Perkins in Detroit Lakes.
She enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, ice skating, baking, dancing, music and WeFest.
Survivors include a daughter:Debra (Robert)Jacoby of Blaine, MN, a son:Jeff Johnson of Detroit Lakes, five grandchildren:FeliciaJohnson,JamieEvans, NickJacoby,KristinJacoby & TammyJohnson; three great-grandchildren Isiah, Jaiden and Raini.
