Bernice Croud

Bernice Croud, 79, Pine Point, MN, died Friday, July 22, 2016 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 28 at 2PM in Old Pine Point School, Pine Point. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27 starting at 4PM and continuing until the time of the service at the Old Pine Point School. Bernice was born July 6, 1937 in Pine Point, MN to John Sr. and Maggie (Sailor) Croud. She attended school in Park Rapids. Bernice attended University of Minnesota from 1976-1979. After school she worked various jobs throughout the year. Most recently she was employed at Northern Lights Casino as a cashier. She really enjoyed the friends she made over the years at Northern Lights and Shooting Star Casinos. Bernice had many interests. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, playing Keno at the casino and spending as much time possible with her family, her sisters and brother along with her nieces and nephews. She loved every moment spent with her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren which allowed her wonderful sense of humor to shine. Sharing memories with family and friends was also a special time that Bernice enjoyed. Bernice will be remembered and missed by her two sons: Charles (Jaunita) and Vincent along with four daughters: Kathleen, Rebecca (Steven), Stacey and Darla. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren along with one sister: Sara Clark and one brother: Joseph Croud along with many nieces and nephews and her baby dog "Odie". She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Sylvia Croud and Cathy Adams. One half-brother: John Croud Jr., three half-sisters: Maime Tanner, Mary Croud and Cathy Croud.
