Billy McDougall

Billy Joe McDougall, 29, Callaway, MN, died Tuesday near Richwood, Minnesota. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Strawberry Lake Mennonite Church in rural Ogema, MN, Delmar Yoder, officiating. Friends may call 4:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday at David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes and at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Billy Joe McDougall was born October 1, 1982 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Steven McDougall and Terri Bellanger. He attended Callaway Elementary School and Detroit Lakes Jr. and Sr. High Schools. Following his education, he worked as an underground construction worker for Sellin Brothers of Hawley, MN. Billy's pride and joy was his son, Alex. He also enjoyed hanging out with his cousins and restoring old cars, especially muscle cars. Survivors include his son: Alexander Chilton-McDougall of Richwood, MN; his father and step-mother: Steven and Karlena McDougall of Callaway, MN; his mother: Terri (Bellanger) Weber of Tacoma, WA; three sisters: Karlye McDougall and Hanna McDougall both of Callaway; Jeannie Weber of Tacoma, WA; a brother: Robin Bellanger of Fargo, ND; his grandmothers: Betty McDougall of Detroit Lakes and Sandi Revier of Callaway and a niece: Nevaeh McDougall-Clark.
