Blayne Richard St. Germain

November 27, 1961 — September 19, 2024

Blayne Richard St. Germain, 62, was born on November 27, 1961, in Fort Francis, Ontario to Ted & Gail St. Germain. He grew up and went to school in International Falls, MN where he met the love of his life Gail Mann, who later became his wife on November 26, 1988. Together they had a son, Theodore, and then moved to Detroit Lakes, MN in 1985 and on to Callaway, MN in 1989 where he followed his love of working on vehicles and began his paintless dent repair business Premiere Auto Specialties. While in Callaway, Blayne and Gail were blessed with a daughter, Ashley, and grandchildren. They then moved to Osage in 2018, and Blayne later was moved to Ecumen in Detroit Lakes, MN, where he resided until his death on September 19, 2024.

Blayne loved anything to do with the outdoors, spending many weekends camping with family, fishing Rainy River, and hunting for anything that moved both large and small. Deer, grouse, ducks, geese, and any other animal didn't stand a chance. He'd say, "You only live once!" and "money is meant to be spent." When not camping or hunting you might find Blayne enjoying a game of golf or out mushroom picking in the spring. He'd be partying it up, telling jokes or stories, and always enjoying a cold beer while listening to old country music.

Blayne is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Gail St. Germain; In-laws: Frankie and Dennis Oveson; niece, Alicia Clinton; brother-in-law, Tom Mann; and his grandparents.

Blayne is survived by his wife, Gail; son, Theo (Angelica) St. Germain and grandchildren: Trinity, Ten, Kylee, Shawndra, Zoey and Addelyn; daughter, Ashley (Chris) McDougall and grandchildren: Jordyn, Lochlan, Everley; sister, Deb Withrow; brother-in-law, Rick (Gwen) Oster; sisters-in-law: Amy Mann, Kathy (Jody) Hart; nephews: Jeremy Hart, Mike (Natasha) Hart, Josh (Jennie) Ondrey, Tyler Withrow and Tom (Saige) Oster; nieces: Nicole Anderson, Rachel Baldwin, Sara Oster and Elizabeth Oster; great-aunt, Emily Flewell; and many great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended relatives and friends.
