Anderson, Carol Jean (Gaynor) age 65 of Burnsville, MN.
Loving Mother and Grandmother passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Carol Jean Anderson was born in Detroit Lakes, MN to Joseph and Rose Gaynor. She resided there until her move to Minneapolis where she raised her children before settling in Burnsville.
Carol started working at North Central Airlines in 1979 and continued on through Republic Airlines, ending with Northwest Airlines before retiring due to her illness. Carol loved spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as travelling the world, genealogy, golf, and sewing.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Rose Gaynor, Sisters; Josephine, Beatrice, Frances, Janet, and JoAnn.
Carol was survived by her beloved sister Marie Kent, children; Scott (Sheri), Jerilynn, Mark (Lisa), and Christopher, Grandchildren; Bayli and Sydni (Scott), Edwin, Eric, Aaron, Gregory, and Brielle (Jerilynn), Andrew, McKenna, Gracie, and Mark Jr. (Mark).
Carol touched the souls of family, friends and many others with her grace, courage, and strength. She will forever be remembered in our hearts. Mom, we love you, and will miss you very much.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 29, 2008 at 12:00pm with service following at 1:00pm at Mother Mary Catholic Church, 3333 Cliff rd. Burnsville MN 55437, phone 952-890-0045.
Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Detroit Lakes.
