Carol Henderson

Carol Ann Henderson, 71, Ogema, MN, died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at David-Donehower Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, White Earth, MN.

Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.

Carol Ann Henderson was born May 28, 1946 in Bend, OR to Cecil and Viola (Cline) Randall.  She was raised and educated in Mill City, OR.  Carol was united in marriage to Marion Ray “Bud” Henderson, April 21, 1964 in Oregon.  They moved to French Camp, CA in 1964 and then to Ada,OK.  They moved to Perham, MN in 1975 and to Audubon, MN in 1977.  Carol and Bud divorced in 1991 and Carol lived in Hopkins, MN  until moving to Ogema, MN in 1993 where she and Dan Teiken became life partners.  Since moving to Ogema, she was employed with the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen until ill health forced her retirement.

Carol enjoyed time with her family, traveling, playing KENO and her dog, Sam.  She especially cherished time spent with her sisters, Judy and Launa.

Survivors include her life partner, Dan Teiken of Ogema, a daughter, Carol Williams of Pelican Rapids, MN, two grandchildren: Ryan and Kyle Johnson, a great grandson, Logan Johnson, Step-children: Nathan Teiken of Osage, MBN, Mae Ann Hedlund of Perham, MN, Daniel (Emily) Teiken Jr. of Bemidji, MN, ten step-grandchildren and a step-great granddaughter; sisters: Nova Lee Johnson of Stayton, OR, Glenda Ward of Sublimity, OK, and Launa Fisher of Dilworth, MN, numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Henderson, her parents, sisters, Joyce and Judy and a brother, Bryan.
