Charles F. Willette, 54, Lake Park, MN, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Sanford Health from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 26 at 11AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Lake Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 25 at David Donehower Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm with a 7PM Prayer Service. Visitation will also continue at the church one hour prior to Mass.
Charles Francis Willette was born November 29, 1962 in Robbinsdale, MN to Charles N. and Carol (Schroeder) Willette. He was raised and educated in Lake Park, MN. After high school he worked wherever he could but mainly helped his dad run the family dairy farm. Chuck was co-owner of Willette Drywall and in recent years was a jack of all trades, fixing, building and fabricating anything you could imagine.
He took great pleasure in helping his Dad, his family and anyone that needed a hand. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family, working on everything mechanical and adding to his ever expanding gardens. Chuck lived his life to the fullest!
Chuck is survived by his father, Charles N. Willette of Lake Park; his beloved friend, Betty Stewart; five sons: Jim (Mandy) Willette, Charles Willette II, Jeff (Mandy Barnes) Willette, Jonathan Willette and Andrew Evenson; three daughters: Angie (Abe Era) Willette, Alison (Kyle Tibbetts) Willette and Isabella Willette. In addition, he is survived by six sisters: Cathy Willette, Carmen (Randy) Dunn, Charlotte (Steve) Joy, Kristi (Greg) Hughes, Robyn (Doug) Short and Candi (Tim) Anderson; along with two brothers: Dean (Penny) Willette and Jon Willette; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Willette; step-mother, Suzanne Willette; one son, Francis Willette and one sister, Charlene Zachariason.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 5:00-7:00pm at David-Donehower Funeral Home with Prayer Service at 7pm
