Cheryl Jackson

Cheryl F. “Cheri” Jackson, 46, White Earth, MN, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, died Thursday, September 9 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 14 at Little Earth of the United Tribes, 2501 Cedar Avenue, Minneapolis, MN. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Friends may call from 4:00 PM Sunday until 10:00 AM Monday at the Karen Jackson Jones residence in White Earth and from 4:00 PM Monday until the time of the service on Tuesday at Little Earth of the United Tribes in Minneapolis.

Cheryl Fern Jackson was born January 5, 1964 in Park Rapids, MN to Irvin and Bernice (Warren) Jackson. She was raised and educated in Minneapolis, attending Center School and Phillip’s Jr. High School.  She lived in Minneapolis until moving to White Earth in 2009.

Cheri enjoyed being with her family and friends, playing BINGO and listening to 70’s music, especially the Rolling Stones.

Survivors include a son: Brandon Jackson of White Earth, 3 sisters: Karen Jackson Jones of White Earth, Evelyn Jackson of Minneapolis, Beverly Jackson of White Earth, 3 brothers: Marvin Jackson of White Earth, Gary Jackson of Minneapolis and Harlan Jackson of Minneapolis, Special nieces and nephews: Maria, Jerry, Damon, Denise, Marcus, Hailey and Phillip. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: William and Dennis, a sister: Fernannette and her life-long friend: Francis Swiftbird.
