Cheryl L. Norcross A.K.A “Big C”, 40, of Detroit Lakes, MN died unexpectedly in Wadena, MN on April 28, 2019.
Cheryl Lisa Norcross was born on November 16, 1978, in Minneapolis MN, the daughter of Douglas Norcross Sr. and Karen Whitebird. She attended Red School House and Heart of the Earth Schools before moving to Detroit Lakes MN. In 1991, she then attended Detroit Lakes Middle School until moving to White Earth in 1996 where she attended Waubun and Mahnomen High Schools. She had recently moved back to Detroit Lakes where she met the love of her life Patrick Foster. She worked for the Viking Hatchery and Walmart in Detroit Lakes.
Cheryl had a heart of gold and a good sense of humor. She loved joking around and playing Keno. She had a lot of love and respect for her family and friends. She was also happy to meet her relatives she never knew she had. She also enjoyed listening to music, joking around, and posting memes on Facebook. She loved all of her nieces, nephews, and friends dearly. She touched the lives of many, she was always willing to help out anyone. She could make anyone laugh when they were having a bad day. She had a heart of gold and a good sense of humor; she will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her father Douglas Norcross Sr. (2006), Brother Marcel Norcross (2003), Grandmother Maxine. Aunts; Sandra Bigbear, Katherine Bigbear and Mary Jane Cobenais, and her uncles.
She is survived by her special friend Patrick Foster of Wadena, MN. Her Mother Karen Whitebird of Cloquet MN, Sisters Valerie Whitebird of Cloquet MN and April Norcross of Detroit Lakes, and Brother Douglas Norcross Jr. of Detroit Lakes MN.
