Colleen Moses

Colleen Joy Stevens was born November 16, 1955 in Peoria, IL to James and Shirley (Polson) Stevens. She graduated from Scottsdale High School in Phoenix, AZ. Her first job was at Bob's Big Boy Restaurant where she worked as a waitress. On April 30, 1988, Colleen was united in marriage to Larry Moses in Mesa, AZ. Larry and Colleen resided in Audubon for many years. She assisted Larry in driving truck for Giere Trucking and R & R Transportation. Colleen was a wonderful homemaker and always made a welcoming environment for her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, especially growing raspberries and was an avid reader of novels. She cherished time spent at her father's home during Christmas and always enjoyed the next time she would visit. Currently residing in Glendale, AZ, Colleen was here visiting friends and family when she passed away unexpectedly. Colleen is survived by her husband Larry Moses of Audubon; a son, Nathan Moses of Audubon; mother, Shirley Stevens of Peoria, AZ; stepmother, Lynn Stevens of Mesa, AZ; three brothers: Mark (Kristi) Stevens of Peoria, AZ, Craig Stevens of Maricopa, AZ and Chris Stevens of Glendale, AZ. She is also survived by one step-brother: Greg Daugherty of Phoenix, AZ and one step-sister: Kristine Daugherty of Phoenix, AZ. She is preceded in death by her father, James; a brother, Kenny Stevens; and one nephew, Martin Stevens.
