Daniel Irwin

Daniel Lee Irwin, age 40, of Lake Park, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at his home in Lake Park surrounded by his family. Dan was born on January 7, 1976 to Wesley & Delois (Odden) Irwin in Morris, MN. During his school years he moved around to several different homes in Ottertail County. The majority of his schooling was attended in Morris, MN, where he graduated with a GED. He worked at a few different jobs but his passion was working on cars or motorcycles as a mechanic. If anyone had trouble with their vehicle, you could call on Dan to help. Dan had a sweet spot for Chevrolets, muscle cars like 1966 Chevelle or older Camaros. After meeting his wife Daisy they married on September 16, 2006 at the home of her parents north of Audubon, MN. The family lived several years in Perham, MN. The last few years they bought a home in Lake Park, MN with a two stall car garage, were he had plenty of room to work on his cars. Dan loved his wife and six children very much. As a family they enjoyed many good times together: summer camping trips, boating, a little fishing and then kicking back around the campfire. Dan will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Daniel is survived by his wife Daisy, his children: son Mason of Johnson, MN; daughters, Trinity, Shea, Montana, and sons Gary & Cameron of Lake Park, MN; mother, Delois; sister, Kristy Irwin; and brother, Curtis Irwin of Johnson, MN; half-brothers, Dougie LaCross of Fergus Falls, MN and Jonny LaCross of Detroit Lakes, MN.
