David Kaiser

David A. Kaiser, 64, St. Paul, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at his home. 

David was born in Detroit Lakes, MN on July 14, 1958, a son of Donald E. and the late June R. (Strachan).  He attended local schools and was a graduate of Waubun High School.  David earned a degree from the Vocational School in Detroit Lakes and enjoyed a long career as a diesel mechanic.

David worked on the pipeline in Alaska for two years before returning to the St. Paul area.  He spent the last 13 years working for Frattelone’s, a job which he greatly enjoyed.

He was also an admirer of heavy equipment and implements and would often share photos he would take with family and friends.  David loved hunting and was an avid gun collector.   He will be sadly missed.

David is survived by his father, Donald “Don” Kaiser, of Ogema, MN, his siblings: Steve (Vicki) Kaiser of Hutchinson, MN, Rosemary Kaiser of The Colony, TX, Elaine (Duane) Scheff of Auburn, WA and Richard (Roxann) Kaiser of Ogema, MN.  He also leaves an uncle, Eugene Kaiser of Ogema, MN, numerous nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, June Kaiser.

The funeral service for David will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at BEAUTIFUL SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH (23115 Co Hwy 14, Callaway, MN 56521) with the Rev. Matthew J. Meyer officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10 AM.  Burial will be in the spring at Ogema Cemetery.
