Dianne Kay Lindberg, 59, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2022, after a valiant fight with cancer. Dianne was born May 23, 1963, the daughter of Charles and Edith (Seehafer) Lindberg in Moorhead, Minnesota. She graduated Detroit Lakes High School as part of the class of 1981 and attended Moorhead State University.
Dianne was a dedicated employee and spent her 37-year career at Border States Electric, working in their Fargo, ND; Rapid City, SD and Brooklyn Park, MN locations.
Dianne was sometimes referred to as the “baby whisperer.” She loved her eleven nieces and nephews to pieces and had a special bond with each of them. She loved to share her love of crafts with them as they grew up and was always willing to babysit at a moment's notice. Dianne loved reading, fishing, pontooning, crafting and staying connected on social media.
Deeply loved, Dianne’s passing will be mourned by her siblings, Nancy (Kent) Utke, Chris (Sandy) Lindberg, Michael (Beth) Lindberg and Charlie (Erin) Lindberg, her nieces and nephews Alexis, Ashley, Emily, Jacob, Hunter, Matthew, James, Jenna, Paige, Griffin, and Hudson and her great nephews Bryson, Breccan and Briggs.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Edith Lindberg, and her grandparents, Leonard (Skip) and Margurite (Honey) Lindberg and Viola and William Seehafer.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Our Lady of Peace Hospice House in St. Paul, Minnesota, for the amazing care and compassion Dianne received the last weeks of her life.
