Dolores Mary Boedigheimer was born February 26, 1928 in Perham, MN to Hugo and Josephine (Krueger) Boedigheimer. She was raised and educated in Perham and was a 1946 graduate of Perham High School. Prior to marriage Dolores was a telephone operator at Tacoma, WA and Detroit Lakes. She married Lennis Geer June 1, 1950 in Perham. They made their home in Detroit Lakes where they raised their family. Dolores worked in Detroit Lakes as a telephone operator and later worked for the Drivers License Office as an examiner and motor vehicle clerk from 1976 to 1993. Lennis died in 1999.
Dolores is survived by five daughters, Pam (Robert) Sand of Dilworth, MN, Jennifer (Paul) Brinkman of Carlos, MN, Charlene (Steven) Fog of Perham, MN, Terri (Tim) Green of Detroit Lakes, Claudette (Brent) Geer-Gustafson of West Fargo, ND; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine (Steven) White of Eagen, MN, Luella Bodigheimer of St. Paul, MN; one brother, Louis Boedigheimer of St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Leonard.
Dolores was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, dancing, being active in Holy Rosary Church and going to the casino with siblings and friends.
