Donna Peake

Donna  Marie Peake was born on September 11, 1960, in Detroit Lakes, MN to Bernard and Betty(Bunker) Peake.  Donna was raised in the Ponsford area in her early adolescences. The family then moved to  Minneapolis, where she went to North High School. She was a part of the school’s swim and track team.  After high school, she worked in eldercare, housekeeping and at local area bars as a bartender.

While living in the cities, she met Francis Phillip Rock. The couple raised seven children together. Darlene Peake, Charlene Rock, Willy Peake, Betty Peake-Melo, Melissa Soyring, Douglas Peake and Kenny Peake.

Donna enjoyed beading, dancing, cooking, sewing, watching movies and riding her bike to get around. She was known as an excellent card player and loved to win. She loved her family, and was a very caring person with a huge heart and will be deeply missed by her family.

Preceding Donna in death are her parents Bernard and Betty; siblings Florence Peake, Carol Peake, Judith Peake Rock, and Sylvester Peake Jr.

Donna is survived by her children Darlene Peake, Charlene Peake, Willy Peake, Betty (Kelvis) Peake Melo, Melissa Soyring, Douglas Peake, and Kenny Peake; 20 grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother Charles “Littleman” Peake; her forever love Francis Rock; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
