Donnell R. Bullert, 72, Ogema, MN, died Wednesday, July 16 at the Frazee Care Center in Frazee, MN. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 22 at Immenuel Lutheran Church in Callaway, MN, Reverend Del Stohs, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, MN with Military Rites provided by the Lake Region Color Guard.
Friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
Donnell Ross Bullert was born November 10, 1935 on the family farm in Callaway Township, rural Ogema, MN to Albert and Nellie (Wilcox) Bullert. He was raised and educated in rural Ogema. Donnell served with the U. S. Army, returning to the family farm following his discharge. He farmed in Callaway Township until entering the Frazee Care Center in 2007.
Survivors include a brother, Loyd and his wife, Mona Bullert of Tower, MN; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ray, Willert and Aldus.
