Dorothy Schultz

Dorothy Schultz, age 88, formerly from Detroit Lakes, MN, passed away peacefully at The Pines of Carmel in Pineville, North Carolina on Friday, May 24, 2024.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harold and survived by her daughter Barb (Andy) Dragan from North Carolina and son Jim (Jackie) Schultz from Rosemount, MN along with her four grandchildren Alexis and Chase (Meredith) Dragan from North Carolina and Samantha and Courtney Schultz from Minneapolis, MN.

Dorothy and her husband Harold owned Schultz’s Resort in Park Rapids, MN from 1974-1985. Dorothy also worked for many years for Becker County Human and Financial Services in Detroit Lakes.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, July 8th at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Detroit Lakes. A gathering will also be held immediately after at the Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes.
