Edith Rennewanz

Edith B. Rennewanz, 93, rural Wolf Lake, MN, died Tuesday, July 15 at her home under the care of Hospice. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 18 at David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, Reverend Brian Erickson, officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Edith Bernice Rennewanz was born November 15, 1920 in Keihl Township, rural Rako, Minnesota to Jefferson and Karen (Myran) Aery. She spent her younger years on the family farm and, on March 19, 1942 was united in marriage to William Rennewanz in Baudette, MN. The couple made their home on a farm in Height of Land Township, rural Detroit Lakes. William died in 1999. In 2000, Edith moved to her daughter, LaRae's home in rural Wolf Lake. Survivors include four daughters: Karen Anderson of Detroit Lakes, Dianna Coolidge of Bastrop. TX, Lois (Jimmy Taylor) Rennewanz of Prosper, TX, LaRae (Bret) Anderson of Wolf Lake, MN. 13 grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren. In addition to her husband, William, she was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Opal, three brothers, Kenneth, Gordon, Orville, two sons-in-law, Charles Anderson and Paul Coolidge and a great-grandson, Bryton Pihlstrom.
