Eleanor Bigger

Eleanor Eileen Bigger was born June 14, 1925 in Abingdon, Illinois to Harold and Linnea (Olson) Way. She moved with her family to Frazee, Minnesota as a young girl and graduated from Frazee High School in 1943. Elly was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Bigger, August 28, 1955 in Detroit Lakes. They made their home in rural Frazee until moving into Frazee in August, 1957. You could stop by their home any time for coffee and cookies or cake. They always had a large garden and produce to spare.

Chuck died in 1997 and Elly moved to her daughter, Jeanne’ s home in Eden Prairie and then to Alexandria, MN in 2008. She loved being a grandma to her two granddaughters and a mom to her “special girls” Cindy, Patty, Teresa, Vicky and Mona. She always loved out-fishing her son-in-law, Dan.

Survivors include a Daughter: Jeanne’ (Dan) Conley – Alexandria, MN, a Son: David Bigger – Cottage Grove, MN.; two Granddaughters: Kailey and Kelsey Bigger of Woodbury, MN, many Nieces and Nephews. In addition to her Husband, Chuck, she was preceded in death by a Brother, Ken of Augusta, GA.
