Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Ann Warren was born November 28, 1944 in Pine Point Township, rural Ponsford, MN to George and Agnes (Fineday) Warren. She is a 1962 graduate of Park Rapids High School. She then earned a degree in Native American Studies at Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis, MN. She was a partner in Health Rest Company which manufactured hospital products made from 1005 Marion wool. She sold her interest in the company in 1995. In 1998, she moved to Gary, MN and to Detroit Lakes in 2001. In 2013, she moved to the assisted living center in White Earth. Elizabeth was one of eight Native American women featured in the book," The Eight Most Outstanding Young Women Of America", published in 1976. She enjoyed playing the slot machines, beading, cleaning and being in the outdoors. Survivors include her children: Anthony Warren of Stillwater, MN, Mary Warren of White Earth, MN and Gordon Warren of Rush City, MN, 7 grandchildren: Marie Warren, Robert Anderson, Antoinette Warren, Shannon Ann Warren, Eric Warren and Jaden Warren. She was preceded in death by a son, John E. Warren and her siblings: Roderick, Edward and George Warren, Isabelle Fineday and Bernice Jackson
