Elizabeth Zurn

Elizabeth “Liz” Veronica Muhlenkort was born on November 6, 1966, in Detroit Lakes, MN to Oliver and Virgina (Hawn) Muhlenkort.  Liz was raised in Waubun, MN with her six brothers and sisters. She attended school in Waubun and graduated from Waubun High School with the class of 1985.

On September 1st, 1990, Liz was united in marriage to Brian Zurn at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Waubun, MN.  Liz furthered her education at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Detroit Lakes for Administrative Management.  She loved using her education and talents to help others.

Liz loved all her nieces and nephews with all her heart. She especially loved her husband and their two little dogs Tiki and now Oscar. They meant everything to her and would do anything for them. She was always kind and uplifting and would do for others before herself. Liz will be greatly  missed by all who knew her.
