Emily "Marcy" Coyle

October 15, 1926 — December 15, 2019

Formerly of Detroit Lakes

Emily Marcella Coyle was born on October 15, 1926 in Thief River Falls, MN to Sylvester and Rose (Dery) Coyle.  Emily was raised in the Detroit Lakes, MN area and graduated Detroit Lakes High School.   Marcy, as most people knew her, worked as a pharmacy tech from 1961-1988, retiring from Dakota Clinic in 1988.

Marcy loved her family and the time spent with them. She enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, and loved to do needle work. Marcy was a loyal Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan. She watched the games every chance she could.  She was a Lifetime member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Marcy spent her final years in St. Paul, enjoying time with her brother James and his family.

Marcy is survived by sister’s in-law Barb and Eileen Coyle; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Marcy in death are her parents, brothers; James, Thomas, and Jerome.

The family would like to thank the staff at Episcopal Church Home in St. Paul, MN, and Our Lady of Peace Hospice, who lovingly cared for Marcy.  Memorials preferred to Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Detroit Lakes, MN.
