Esther Holz-Kjose

Edward and Clara (Jentz) Kahle celebrated Esther's journey into life on June 12, 1924. She was born in Blakely Township in their home. On August 8, 1945, she married Harold Holz; together they traveled their life journey for 54 years, until Harold's passing on December 9, 1999. Esther remarried on September 16, 2000, to Arden Kjose. Together they enriched each other's lives and continued their journey until Arden's passing on February 1, 2012. Esther was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. She was always happy, bubbly, and full of life and love. She was a true caregiver. She put every bit of her heart in everything that she did. Esther touched so many lives in her lifetime and loved everyone dearly. There are so many things that she enjoyed doing, from gardening to fishing, playing solitaire and jig-saw puzzles on her computer and word searches could be found on every table. But her favorite pastime was dancing. Esther leaves behind her five beautiful children, whom she loved deeply: Darlene (Richard) Fillingim of Navarra, FL; Bill (Becky) Holz of Terrell, TX; Joyce Kreuscher of Hillsboro, OR; Larry (Kathy) Holz of Duluth, MN; and Bonnie Holz of Perham, MN; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Holz and Arden Kjose. Esther's children would love for all to attend, so that we may hear some beautiful memories you share of our mom.
