Eunice Corey

Eunice was born in Washington State on October 20, 1926 to Albert and Minnie (Dwire) Corey. She moved with her family to Wisconsin in 1935.   In 1937, Eunice moved back to Minnesota with her family. Eunice’s state of health required her to live among various state hospitals in Minnesota. During her adult years she lived at various foster homes and since June of 1991, Eunice has been cared for at Bill and Lori Ladwig Foster Home near Callaway, MN. Eunice was united in marriage to Edwin Leinonen on April 10, 1992, Ed died January 31, 1994. Eunice enjoyed her time at Bill and Lori’s as she was able to spend time in the garden, going to movies, long walks, shopping, playing games, listening to music and especially their trips to KFC for a nice meal. From 1980 to January of 1993, Eunice had been attending DAC in Detroit Lakes.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Edmund Corey.
