Faye Erickson

Faye Janice Erickson was born October 10, 1938 in Hawley, MN to Arthur and Alice (Cederberg) Anderson. She was raised and educated in Hitterdal, MN. Faye was united in marriage to Forrest Erickson, January 10, 1957 in Lake Park, MN. They farmed in rural Ulen and then moved to rural Audubon, MN where they owned and operated Lake Center Store 1961 – 1971. They farmed in rural Audubon and Faye did babysitting. She also worked for many years as a nurses aide for St. Mary's Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes. Faye enjoyed time with her grandchildren, going for walks, gardening, cooking and baking. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Forrest of Audubon, a son: Roger of rural Ogema, MN, a daughter: Renee Kluenenberg of Detroit Lakes, 2 grandchildren: Alyssa and Derek, 3 brothers: Floyd (Mary Lou) Anderson of Hitterdal, MN, Nile (Raynelle) Anderson of Hawley, MN, Rick (Paula) Anderson of W. Fargo, ND and a sister-in-law: Shirley Anderson of Ulen, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, DuWayne.
