Floyd S. Schultz, 54, Osage, MN, died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his residence in Osage. Floyd Stanley Schultz was born April 26, 1961 in Park Rapids, MN to Delbert and Darlene (Raisch) Schultz. He attended elementary school in Gary, IN before moving with his family to his grandparent's farm near Wolf Lake, MN. He attended school in Frazee and after finishing school, Floyd started his career in construction, primarily building bridges throughout the state of Minnesota. On December 13, 1980, Floyd was united in marriage to Cheryl Saeland in Wolf Lake. They resided in rural Osage and were proud that this year would be their 35 wedding anniversary. Known to his family as "Superman", Floyd enjoyed the simple things in life. A day out fishing, hunting or target practicing, were a few hobbies Floyd enjoyed. The canoe and oars that sat on Green Water Lake with the note, "Feel free to use me, but please put me back on shore when finished" belonged to Floyd. Floyd's family will continue that tradition in keeping his memory alive. Tinkering in the shop was another hobby of Floyd's. He had a passion for working on old cars and what made it even more special was when his sons came home to join him. Family was most important to Floyd. His "Superman" demeanor was a door to a heart of gold. He had a special fondness for his pugs, but his entire heart belonged to his grandchildren. A proud "Papa", Floyd enjoyed every second shared with each of hisgrandchildren and always looked forward to their visits. A devoted husband, father and "Papa" was lost, but the memories that were made will last a lifetime. Floyd will be remembered and missed by his wife, Cheryl of Osage, children: Joseph (Laine) Schultz of Ogema, Sheena (Wesley) Shultz-Paré of Audubon, Eric (Rennae) Schultz of Cottage Grove and Steven Strehlow (fiancé Callie) of Frazee along with his ten grandchildren: Trinity, Dakota, Aubrey, Kaley, Everett, Darline, Elizabeth, Bensen, Navi, Vivian and Cash along with brothers: Michael (Christine) Schultz of Detroit Lakes, Ronald (Vickie) Schultz of Frazee and David Schultz of Mahnomen. He is preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles
