Frances Arlene Kennedy

Frances Arlene Kennedy, 73, of Detroit Lakes, MN died on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Frazee Care Center, Frazee, MN.

Frances was born on May 13, 1949, the daughter of George and Julia (Drake) Thompson in Urbana, Ohio.

She became an LPN and worked at the DAC in Thief River Falls for many years before transitioning to a certified nurse’s assistant for Home Health Care and volunteering for hospice.

Frances loved to travel and spend time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Julia Thompson and two sisters.

Frances is survived by her three children; Amanda (Gonzalo) Jimenez, Adam Kennedy, and Anthony (Adrienne) Kennedy, grandchildren; Cody Jimenez, Gonzalo Jr. (Samantha) Jimenez, Victor Jimenez, Julian Jimenez, Luka Kennedy, Atticus Kennedy, Aramis Kennedy, and four great-grandchildren.

No services are scheduled at this time. Burial will take place in Ohio at a later date.
