Francine Bellanger

Francine R. "Frankie" Bellanger, 37, White Earth, MN, died Monday, December 20 in Iowa City, Iowa. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 27 at St. Columba Episcopal Church in White Earth, Mothers Lisa Smith and Carol "Coke" Smith, officiating. Interment will be in St, Columba Episcopal Cemetery. Friends may call 5:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday at David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes and at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Monday. Francine Rae Bellanger, known as "Frankie", was born May 29, 1973 in Minneapolis, MN to Francis Bellanger and Gloria King. She was raised and educated in the White Earth-Waubun area and is a 1991 graduate of Waubun High School. She is also a graduate of the School of Business and Office Technology in Minneapolis. She had recently moved to Iowa City, Iowa. Frankie enjoyed fishing, hanging out with her friends, listening to country music and the Minnesota Vikings. Survivors include her children: Skyler, Hayle, Emily, Grace and Kilajah Bellanger; her parents: Gloria L. King of White Earth & Francis Bellanger of Waubun; four brothers: Jason (Shari) of Ogema, MN, Jerel (Angie) of Ogema, Roland (Carol) of Waubun, Donavon of Ogema, a sister: Heather Berry of Mahnomen, MN; special aunts: Emma, Mary Jo, Liz and Betty Ann King; Godchildren: Johnny Fossen & Kayla Bevins, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frankie was preceded in death by: Grandparents; Fred and MaryLou King and William and Delia Bellanger, her special cousins; Anthony and David King, Uncles; Richard King, Ronald, Lawrence, Doug and Wayne Bellanger.
