Gary Young

Gary Allen Young was born July 28, 1938 in Spencer, IA to Kennith and Helen (Spalding) Young. He moved with his family to a number of communities as a child. At an early age, he developed a love of antique motorcycles. Gary served with the U. S. Navy 1957 – 1961. During his working life, he was an over-the-road trucker driving for many years for Haukedahl Trucking of Audubon, MN and for International Transport of Rochester, MN. He retired in 1985. Gary enjoyed motorcycles, antique motorcycles, hunting, fishing, woodworking, model railroading, playing pool, gardening and feeding the deer. Survivors include his wife of 43 years: Pam of Detroit Lakes, children: Linda Bahr of Eagle River, Alaska, Kenneth Young, Shawn Young, Gary (Yvette) Young of Detroit Lakes, Raera Rose of Phoenix, AZ, Gerry Ann (Michael) Rathke of Covington, WA, 3 grandchildren: Jessa, Dakota and Hunter: 2 brothers: Dennis (Heidi) Young of Klamath Falls, OR and Bobby Young of Riverside, CA.
