Gerald Warren

Gerald M. Warren, 68, Prior Lake, MN, formerly of White Earth, MN, died Tuesday, February 24 at the Minneapolis Veterans Hospital. Mass Of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 28 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in White Earth, Father Walter Butor, OMI, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, White Earth. Friends may call from 4:00 PM Friday, February 27 until 9:00 AM Saturday at the White Earth Community Center and at the church one hour prior to the mass on Saturday.
Gerald Maxem Warren was born June 2, 1940 in White Earth, MN to Clifford and Dora (McDougall) Warren. He was raised and educated in White Earth and is a 1958 graduate of Waubun (MN) High School. He served with the U. S. Army. Following his discharge, Gerald attended the Detroit Lakes Vocational-Technical Institute Carpentry Program. Following graduation he worked as a carpenter in the White Earth area until moving to Lakeville, MN in 1989. Gerald moved to Prior Lake in 2002.
Gerald enjoyed deer hunting, bird watching, feeding the birds and fishing.
Gerald is survived by a daughter, Christie VanHecke of Prior Lake; son, Gerald Warren of Thief River Falls, MN; two brothers, Clifford (Cleo) Warren of White Earth and Leonard (Karen) Warren of Lakeville, MN. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold “Britt” Warren and two sisters, Nancy Anderson and Louise Lattie.
