Gloria Jane Moeller, age 76, of Detroit Lakes, lost her battle with Parkinson's on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Detroit Lakes, MN. Gloria was born on July 16, 1938 to Sven and Ruth (King) Erdahl in Moorhead, MN. She attended Horace Mann School in
Fargo and later achieved her GED. She was united in marriage to Herman Moeller Jr. on October 10, 1954, in Nassau, MN; to that union five children were born. Together they moved around the United States while Herman served in the Air Force. They returned to Detroit Lakes in 1962. Gloria worked for Prices Fine Jewelry, E.G. King Plumbing, and Bremer Bank, until her retirement in 2003. In retirement she enjoyed traveling, playing cards, bowling, baking, and knitting. She sold her house in 2009 and moved into Lincoln Park Assisted Living. She spent her remaining years at Diamond Willow Assisted Living. She is survived by her brother, Bruce (Judy) Erdahl of Wadena, MN; a sister, Joan (Bernie) Larson of Battle Creek Michigan; children, Terry (Don) Elliott of Mayville, ND, Jeff (Melanie) Moeller of North Bend, OR, Jackie (Bob) Jenson of Detroit Lakes, Kathy (Chad)
Kussatz or Grand Forks, ND, Kristy (Bob) Hovanec of Lake Park; grandchildren, Nick (Heather) Elliott, Samantha Elliott, Andy Elliott, Jordan Moeller, Jantzen Moeller, Lexie Jenson, Casey Jenson, Jessica Jenson, Courtney Kussatz, Patrick
Kussatz, Haylee Hovanec, Heather Hovanec; and great grandchildren, Myles Elliott, Edison Elliott, Savannah Elliott. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Herman, and her parents.
