Gordon Johnson

Gordon Louis Johnson was born September 8, 1933 in Fargo, ND to Louis and Ella (Lundin) Johnson. He moved with his family to Callaway, MN as an infant. He was educated in Callaway country schools and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Callaway. Following his education, Gordon farmed with his parents near Callaway. He then worked for Advanced Structures Company of Fargo, ND 1966 – 1973 and for Dynamic Homes in Detroit Lakes 1973 0 1993. Gordon enjoyed his dogs, Jackie and Murphy; hunting, fishing, gardening, and baking. He treasured every moment spent with family and friends. Survivors include sisters and brothers: Esther Mitchell of Frazee, MN, Leland Johnson of Waukesha, WI, Ray "Kenny" (Elly) Johnson of Detroit Lakes, Fern Thompson of Callaway, his twin: Gladys Braun of Detroit Lakes, Ardyce (Eugene) Schouviller of Detroit Lakes, a sister-in-law: Irene Johnson of Detroit Lakes. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Erwin and Merl Johnson.
