Irene O. Keezer, age 73, resident of White Earth, MN, died Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Innovis Health in Fargo, ND. The Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 10

at St. Columba Episcopal Church, White Earth with Father Robert Roy officiating. Interment is in St. Columba Episcopal Cemetery, White Earth. Visitation will begin 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 9
th
at the Irene Keezer residence in White Earth and will continue until the time of the service Thursday.
Irene Olivia Jackson was born September 25, 1934 in White Earth to Louis and Mary (Roy) Jackson. Irene was united in marriage with Harry Keezer in May of 1951. She received her GED and attended MSU; graduating with an Associates Degree for counseling in 1985. Irene had worked at the Circle of Life School in White Earth for 6 years as a counselor. In the summertime, Harry and Irene made Indian crafts and would travel the roads by Lake Superior selling those craft items. She enjoyed her bingo night and visiting with friends. Irene also enjoyed traveling with Harry throughout the U.S., especially her trip to Nashville. She was a lifetime member of St. Columba Episcopal Church and was an avid fan of basketball. Irene traveled with her sons to watch them play basketball in Chicago, Montana, Arizona, Nebraska and Kansas.
Irene is survived by her husband Harry; daughters, Harriet “Dove” Keezer-Thompson and Cheryl “Honey” Keezer; her adopted children, Laurie Smith, Robert Budreau and Kenneth Budreau; one sister, Rose Weaver; 26 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Harrison, Vernon “Pork” and Joseph “Jig”; one grandson, Christopher; one granddaughter, Amy; three brothers, Fred, Edward and George; three sisters, Mae, Victoria and Cecilia.
