Jamie A. Clear, 55, resident of Detroit Lakes, MN, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her residence.
Memorial services for Jamie will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2PM in First Lutheran Church, Detroit Lakes. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Jamie was born September 18, 1958 in Detroit Lakes to William R. and Lois (Whitmore) McGiboney. She graduated from Perham Public High School.
Jamie was a free spirit and enjoyed the simple things in life. In her younger years, Jamie enjoyed working on cars with her brother Joe and playing her guitar. She also loved to bake, especially her pies, puddings, cookies and cakes often sharing with family and friends. Jamie felt her purpose in life was to help the elderly. While living at Park Manor, she was able to fulfill her purpose as she daily showered kindness to those in need who lived among her. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Jamie is survived by her daughter, Angel Quacken of Youngsville, PA, two grandchildren: Aiden and Jordyn. She is also survived by her mother: Lois McGiboney of Detroit Lakes, brother: Wayne (Debbie) McGiboney of San Antonio, TX and Jean Meshew of Robesonia, PA. She is preceded in death by her father and one brother: Joe McGiboney.
