Jay Gaetz

Jay Charles Gaetz was born August 8, 1968 in Fargo, ND to Marvin and Glenaris "Pat" Quatier) Gaetz. He is a 1986 graduate of Frazee High School. Following graduation, he worked for the Swift Hatchery and for Savioe Dry Cleaners both in Detroit Lakes. Jay was united in marriage to Kris Carr June 17, 1988 in Detroit Lakes. He was employed with Audubon Engineering at the time of his death.

Jay adored his sons, Cody, Jordan and Logan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his motorcycle. Survivors include his wife, Kris and his three sons, Cody, Jordan and Logan all of Rochert, His mother, Pat Gaetz of Detroit Lakes, brothers and sisters: Debra (Terrance) Clark of Detroit Lakes, Myra Thornby of Detroit Lakes, Craig Dashendorf of Des Moines, IA, Cary (Mike) Byer of Frazee, Lori Danielson of Detroit Lakes, Renee (Darryl) Bergstrom of Detroit Lakes, his father and mother-in-law, Darrel and Rosalie Carr of Rochert. He was preceded in death by his dad.
