Jeff Potter

Jeff Potter, age 51, of White Earth, MN, passed away November 29, 2016, following a work related accident, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the White Earth Community Center. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the White Earth Community Center beginning at 2 p.m. David-Donehower Funeral Home is assisting the funeral home with arrangements. Www.fureyfh.com. Jeff was born July 12, 1965, in Minneapolis, MN, to Joseph and Patricia (Day) Potter. Jeff grew up in Minneapolis, MN, where he continued to reside until making his home in White Earth, MN. Jeff was blessed with a son, Joe and daughters: Shantel, Brittany, Erica, Kayana, and Dana. Jeff worked many jobs over the years, most recently at White Earth Sanitation. Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he enjoyed spoiling. He also loved dancing at social gatherings, and working on his dancing regalia. AA was very important to him; following in his father's footsteps. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was an avid Vikings fan and watched every game. He is survived by his mother, Pat Potter of White Earth, MN; grandmother, Jean (Robert) Oswaldson of Vineland, MN; son, Joe (Candace) Potter of Mahnomen; daughters: Shantel, Brittany, Erica, Kayana and Dayna; many grandchildren; six siblings: Jo Marie, Shelly, Kelly, Joel, Jeremy, and Jamie; numerous nieces and nephews; and uncle, Duane Potter. Jeff was preceded in death by his dad, Joseph Potter; sister, Tanya; nephew, Charles; Devin, and Mussette.
