Jeffery Bellcourt

Jeffery "Jeff" James Bellcourt, age 31, of White Earth, MN, passed away unexpectedly due to a car accident on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in White Earth. Lunch will follow in the church basement. Burial will be made at Calvary Cemetery in White Earth. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Jeffery's residence, 36615 Net Lake Road, Ogema, MN. Visitation will continue at 10 a.m. On Wednesday until the time of service at the church. David-Donehower Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Www.daviddonehower.com Jeff was born August 10, 1984 in Minneapolis, MN, Valerie Bellcourt and Bobby Jacobson. Jeff was raised in Minneapolis by his grandparents, Leroy and Doris Bellcourt. He went to school in South Minneapolis. Following his schooling, Jeff worked several jobs in the construction field. He moved with his grandpa, Leroy to White Earth in 2000. He continued work in the construction field and also worked at the Shooting Star Casino. Jeff enjoyed the outdoor, especially hunting, fishing and ricing. The joy of his life was his daughter. He had a good natured spirit about him and was well liked by his many friends and loved by his family. He will be dearly missed. Jeffery is survived by his grandpa, Leroy Bellcourt of Ogema; mother, Valerie Bellcourt of Minneapolis, MN; father, Bobby Jacobson of Milwakee, WI; daughter, Nindonis Bellcourt of Mahnomen, MN; significant other, Lori Hill of Mahnomen, MN; siblings: Bruce Sherman of Minneapolis, MN, Michael Sherman of Minneapolis, MN, and Valla Eagle of Mille lacs, MN, Rafael Bellcourt of White Earth, MN; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceding Jeffery in death were his grandma, Doris Bellcourt; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
