Jeffrey Bond

Jeffrey D. Bond, 54, Detroit Lakes, MN, died Wednesday, October 12 at his home. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 22 at United Methodist Church, Reverend Brenda North, officiating. Friends may call at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Jeffrey David Bond was born September 17, 1957 in Fargo, ND to Ronald and Barbara Bond. With his Dad in the Air Force, he lived in a number on communities as he grew up. Jeff moved to Detroit Lakes in the early 1980's. During his working life, he was known as a Jack-of-all-trades and worked doing everything from an auto mechanic to a security guard. Because of a number of health issues, he has been disabled for a number of years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Survivors include four children: Amy (Nevada) Anderson of Gary, MN, Coby Bond of Detroit Lakes, Brian Bond of Detroit Lakes, Dacia Bond of Newport, CA, three grandchildren: Jacksten, Chase and Lyndon, two sisters: Wendy (Dave) Hill of Irvine, CA and Tara (Dean) Hill of Newport, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
