Jeffrey LeTourneau

Jeffrey Marc LeTourneau was born to Milo and Margaret LeTourneau on September 14, 1970.   Jeff lived and worked on the dairy farm while attending Detroit Lakes Schools and graduating in 1989. Jeffrey worked on a turkey farm for a few years, then going to TEAM Industries, where he was employed at the time of his death on January 7, 2020.

Jeff was a quiet, kind, patient man, who loved his family and friends with a special place in his heart for his sister Heidi.  He enjoyed snowmobiling in the winter months and then took up bicycling.  Jeff would often bike the 8 miles into town and back, the trails of Detroit Mountain and other parks.  Deer hunting and tending his deer plot was a yearly joy to him.  Rollag and other steam threshing reunions were always on his yearly agenda with his dad and sometimes his brother.  Jeff, his dad, and brother restored an Allis Chalmers WD 45 tractor this past summer, which was a proud accomplishment for them. When driving by Jeff’s place, you would often see him mowing his grass, keeping his yard meticulously groomed.  His car was also kept clean and maintained meticulously.

Jeffrey is survived by his parents; brother Shannon; sister Heidi, all from Detroit Lakes; and nephew Robbie from Lake Park.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by grandparents Leo and Jenny LeTourneau and Leo and Geraldine Schmit; aunt Shirley Kvilvang, uncle Jim Kvilvang, and aunt Sheree Cresswell, uncle Micheal Anderegg and uncle Burdean Tjaden.

Jeff will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal
