Joanne Marie (Annalora) Chadwick (73) died at home Monday, November 7, in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was born April 8, 1943, to John and Mary (Boit) Annalora in Dilworth, Minnesota, along with her twin sister, Jeanne. Joanne attended Dilworth Pubic Schools and graduated from high school in 1961. She took courses at Interstate Business College, Fargo, North Dakota. On August 27, 1962, she married Rhinney Chadwick in a double ceremony with her twin sister, Jeanne, and her husband, Lorren Crawford, in Dilworth. Joanne worked as a stay-at-home mom while she raised her three daughters; she entered the work force when the girls grew older. She retired from Fargo North High School and Fargo Public Schools in 1999. Joanne was active as a church, school, and community volunteer. She had a big heart and was a good friend to many throughout her life. She loved her cabin on Big Floyd Lake in Minnesota and was blessed to spend summers there surrounded by her family, her many friends, and her dogs. Joanne enjoyed tooling around the lake on her pontoon and stopping at the Sunlite for burgers. She is survived by her husband, Rhinney; daughters: Kim (Pat) Quade, Lincoln, Nebraska.; Kara Chadwick (Joe Reddan), Durango, Colorado; and Kelly Hamilton (Darren Bercier), Fargo, North Dakota; grandsons: Cody Hamilton, Fargo, North Dakota; Justin Hamilton, Lompoc, California; and Zach Quade, Minneapolis, Minnesota; her twin sister, Jeanne (Lorren) Crawford, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and their three sons: Ronald, Dennis (Tammy), and Wayne (Kathy); brother, Carl (Muriel) Annalora, New Port Richey, Florida, and their children, Julie (Rodney) Steman, and Chris (Bill) Annalora; sister, Rosie Judd, Concord, California; nieces and nephews, her Thursday coffee group, water aerobics ladies, and her lake neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis Shackelford. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 19, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Detroit Lakes. A reception will follow at the Sunlite, Richwood Road. Memorials to Hospice of the Red River Valley and Humane Society of the Lakes.
