Juliana Dacy

Juliana Haas Dacy, Age 88, of Sebastian, Florida and Ottertail, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at her home at Walker Elder Suites, Edina, Minnesota on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Juliana was born on December 28, 1922 in Detroit Lakes, MN. to George J. Haas and Edna Larkin Haas. She graduated from Detroit Lakes High School and the University of Minnesota. Juliana was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert T., and her sister Margaret (Webster) Pajunen. Juliana is survived by son, Timothy (Barbara) Dacy; daughter, Monica (Richard) Jahn; daughter, Ann (Linda Carroll) Dacy; son, Brian (Chrysanne) Dacy; and daughter, Barbara (Jodie Belknap) Dacy; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Service to be held at Washburn-McReavy Werness Brothers Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, in Bloomington, Mn. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 10 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 46404 County Hwy 14, Perham, Mn. 56573 on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Detroit Lakes, Mn. Memorials may be donated to the Detroit Lakes Public Library, a branch of the Agassiz Regional Public Library. The David-Donehower Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
