June Kaiser

June R. Kaiser, 76, Ogema, MN, died Sunday, September 26 at Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes, MN. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at the new Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church at the intersection of Hwy 59 and Becker County Road 14 in Callaway, MN, Rev. Del Stohs, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes.


Friends may call at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.


June Rose Kaiser was born June 29, 1934 in Bishop Stortford, England to Henry and Elsie (Cooper) Strachan. She was united in marriage to Donald Kaiser June 29, 1957 in Bishop Stortford, England. They came to the United States and farmed in Callaway Township, rural Ogema, MN.


June was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Ladies Aide and for many years, was the correspondent for the Trinity Lutheran L.W.M.L. in Ogema. She enjoyed gardening, pontoon rides, driving the tractor, feeding the young calves, scrap booking and word puzzles. June loved to knit and created many wonderful keepsakes for her family.


Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Donald of Ogema, three sons: David Kaiser of St. Paul, MN, Steven (Vicki) Kaiser of Hutchinson, MN, Richard (Roxann) Kaiser of Cooper City, FL; two daughters: Rosemary Kaiser of Dallas, TX and Elaine (Duane) Scheff of Auburn, WA; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two brothers: Leonard Strachan and John (Margaret) Strachan both in England. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Henry and Ronald and two sisters: Winnie and Rose.
